Kevin Norstrem has been with vXchnge since June of 2017 and works out of our headquartered office in Tampa, Florida. As a Financial Planning Analyst for vXchnge, Kevin handles the majority of the financial planning and analysis workload and helps evaluate strategic initiatives.  He enjoys supplying management with the tools to seek out continued growth and making new connections along the way. When he is not working, Kevin enjoys coaching, wakeboarding, and playing instruments.

Why do you enjoy working at vXchnge?

Working with vXchnge’s finance leadership has provided me an experience unique to most companies. There is a winning culture on this team that encourages you to strive to be the best version of yourself on a daily basis. Not only am I learning a great deal about finance, but the importance of a strong work ethic in the workplace as well.

If you could hand pick two teams to play in the Super Bowl, who would you like to see play?

The Tampa Bay Bucs and the Green Bay Packers. If you look up the word “disappointment” in the dictionary, I would bet these two teams are mentioned somewhere in the definition. Maybe the new coaching changes are the start these organizations desperately need.

What is something that is popular now that annoys you?

I’m not sure how popular it is anymore but the cryptocurrency craze is too much for me. I understood the reasoning why people were so intrigued by it but it became a get rich quick scheme. People were “investing” hefty amounts of money into something they (nor I) did not understand hoping to turn a large profit.

What do you hope to achieve in your professional life?

This is a great question, and I have no idea. I think I know, but it changes every week. The more connections I make, the more I learn about how much is really out there for me. Luckily I grew up in a competitive environment that taught me the importance of showing up and giving your 100% every day, no matter how you feel. I believe that if I continue to do that, good things will happen. But if you really want to know… When I was young, I wanted to be a Burger King taste tester.
