Why do you enjoy working at vXchnge?
I enjoy working at vXchnge because we are always looking to improve and write our own playbook.

Who had the biggest impact on your professional life thus far?
In my first job in the industry in 1998 one of our customers named Mike was sitting on a plaster bucket working in a suspect “datacenter”. He and I began chatting and then working side jobs cabling voice switches or whatever was needed. We worked together in some capacity for 17 years until I started with vXchnge. He was a great mentor and we remain good friends.
Looking back when you were 10 years old, what did you think you wanted to be when you grew up?
When I was 10, I was hoping to be a professional football, baseball player or golfer. I don’t think I’ll make the NFL or MLB but the Senior PGA tour is still an option, but not for 5 more years so I need to practice!
What is a topic or idea that you constantly find yourself pondering?
How far south do I go to retire?
Check in next week to read about another vXchnge employee that we feature in our Employee Spotlight!
