See the vXchnge Difference at Our National Colocation Data Centers
By: Kaylie Gyarmathy on January 11, 2019
Steven Farese has been with vXchnge since May of 2016 and works out of the Secaucus, New Jersey office. As an OSSC (operations service support center) Specialist, Steve’s responsibilities include supporting ticket requests, maintenance notifications, service advisories, network outages, customer portal configuration and facility events for all 14 vXchnge data centers across the U.S. Steve enjoys interacting with his coworkers as well as customers on a daily basis and helping answer their questions. In his spare time, Steve enjoys hanging out with his wife, Dana, big Italian family and friends, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and playing video games.
I like working at vXchnge because it gives me the opportunity to help bring some positivity to a customer’s day, whether just being cheerful on the phone or doing something as simple as helping them to reset a password, it makes me feel like I made an impact on the customer and on vXchnge. I also enjoy working at vXchnge because it has allowed me to be part of an amazing team, while also giving me an opportunity for career growth. Having great mentors, like Elif and Frank, that guide us and lead by example is something that I really admire and motivates me to do the same.

Before my first “official” job, I would help people in the neighborhood by mowing lawns and shoveling snow. I enjoyed this because I knew I was helping people and I also love being outside in both the summer and winter.
I would love to invent a Teleportation machine – I love to travel but hate the long process of getting there. Another idea would be a super snooze button that gives you ten extra hours of sleep by pausing time. (my wife could tell you how much I love to sleep!)
As a Beatles fan, it would be pretty cool to go on the Yellow Submarine.
