Tony O’Yang has been with vXchnge since May of this year and works out of our CA01 data center/office. As the Regional Vice President of Sales for the West, Tony leads a newly assembled team of Sales Professionals (Client Business Executives) focused on driving new logo business to the company while growing our existing client relationships. His team includes industry veterans from CenturyLink, Equinix, Sungard, and QTS and are strategically located in California, Texas, and Washington. Away from vXchnge, Tony enjoys spending time with his family and pet Mochi (Maltese-poodle mix), coaching junior basketball, playing tennis and basketball. As a Northern California native, Tony enjoys rooting on his (no longer underdog) Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.
Having come from a 50,000+ employee company, I enjoy the “startup” mentality of vXchnge and the talented people that I'm surrounded by here at vXchnge. As an avid basketball and football sports fan, I relish the opportunity to shine as the underdog. Just like the Golden State Warriors, I'm excited about the opportunity to help build vXchnge from being an underdog to becoming the defacto Edge Data Center Colocation provider.

My family and their well-being. My father was an auto mechanic and at the age of 50, he immigrated (legally!) to the US from Taiwan so that my brother, sister, and I could live the American dream. My father showed me that hard work and perseverance does pay off. And while he did not foresee all of the “how-to” videos on Youtube, he always demonstrated that one can accomplish anything in life as long as you worked for it.
Cardigans and MC Hammer style “parachute” pants. Actually I wouldn’t be caught dead one of them today, but also wouldn’t deny that I may have owned a pair or two back in the day. It is interesting to see them sold as Halloween costumes today...
