TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 5, 2018vXchnge, the leading data center-as-a-service (DCaaS) provider dedicated to protecting global and emerging brands, today announced it has been recognized as the 2018 Innovative Leadership Award recipient. Frost and Sullivan’s research of the North American Data Center market identified customers’ key decision criteria for selecting a DCaaS company. This award benchmarked data center companies on data center uptime, security, innovative services, as well as industry-leading methods and practices.

"As businesses undergo digital transformation, their urgent needs — for technology, expertise, and timeframes to make confident decisions — are escalating faster

than their ability to address them. vXchnge has designed its services and data centers to make it easier for resource-constrained IT organizations to support their business’s most critical business goals," noted Lynda Stadtmueller, Vice President, Cloud Services at Frost & Sullivan. “Unlike competitors that simply provide power and space, vXchnge’s unique services and technologies are built to address clients’ top challenges in digital transformation.”

Frost & Sullivan’s recent research found businesses are looking beyond the public cloud to support their high-stakes technology needs in the digital era. Sixty-eight percent of US businesses surveyed by Frost & Sullivan say they are implementing a flexible hybrid environment that comprises multiple infrastructure options:  public and private, local and remote, and dedicated and shared. Across the spectrum of options, traditional co-location services retain an important place. According to the 2018 Frost & Sullivan survey, 70 percent of businesses say their hybrid IT environment includes some co-location services, and 69 percent say they plan to increase their co-location deployments in the next two years. Even more significant are recent indications that businesses are moving key applications out of the public cloud into co-location facilities.

“Markets are more competitive than ever, and companies are looking for technology innovations that can help them achieve and exceed their goals, diligently protect their data, and deliver exceptional service to their customers. We are honored to be recognized by Frost & Sullivan this year and join companies such as Amazon and Microsoft who have earned this prestigious recognition,” said Ernest Sampera, CMO and co-founder of vXchnge. “We’re in the business of protecting our customers’ brands and have designed data center and services for reliability, transparency and governance. Customers have recognized us as their partner.”

Frost & Sullivan’s Stadtmueller added, “vXchnge met a variety of important criteria to earn the Innovative Leadership distinction. And, businesses need a data center partner that will improve on their own data center infrastructure, with state-of-the-art design and intelligent systems that help them achieve their top business objectives.  More than power and space, businesses need a new data center-as-a-service option that introduces maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability into their IT environment.  This is the innovative service that is provided by vXchnge.”

Each year, Frost & Sullivan’s global team of analysts and consultants research a wide range of markets across multiple sectors and geographies. As part of this ongoing research, Frost & Sullivan identifies companies that consistently develop new growth strategies based on a visionary understanding of the future, and thus more effectively address new challenges and opportunities. This involves extensive primary and secondary research across the entire value chain of specific products.
